FAQs

What is Oktoberfest on the Common?

This is MORE than a beer festival…originally starting as a wedding party for Prince Ludwig in 1810, Oktoberfest is not only about the beer. With stellar music, fairground rides, keg-tapping, photo booths, authentic foods and hammerschlagen to name a few, this is the export you’ve been waiting for.

Our mission is to be the best Oktoberfest experince outside of Munich!
Oktoberfest on the Common is the UK's biggest outdoor Oktoberfest.
The party is on London's iconic Clapham Common across 3 weekends with 11 sessions in total for 2025.

What's new for 2025:
- New immersive stage with multiple runways!
- More food choice
- New sound system
- Upgraded table service drinks ordering system (limited menu for standard tickets)
- Additional weekend added
- More to be announced. Follow us on instagram @oktoberfestonthecommon

Is it only beer or are there other drinks available?

We have a range of wines, spirits and soft drinks to complement our beers.

At Oktoberfest on the Common, we stock authentic German beers from Munich's very own Paulaner brewery (we are their only official UK Oktoberfest partner!) as well as UK beers from Local legends Jubel (Lambeth) and Sambrook's Brewery (Wandsworth).
